Good beginner kit

I got the Polygel Nail Extension Kit to try doing my nails at home. It came with everything I needed, which was nice. It took a bit to figure out, but my nails actually looked pretty good after a couple tries. Shipping was okay, took about a week to get to me.

Great value, decent quality

I was looking for a cost-effective way to do my nails and SXC Cosmetics popped up. I snagged a Polygel Nail Extension Kit when it was on sale, plus I got an extra discount for my first order. The overall price felt really fair compared to salon visits. The kit arrived in about 6 days. The polygel itself is pretty easy to work with once you get the hang of it, and the UV LED Nail Lamp cured everything quickly. I've had the extensions on for over a week now with no lifting. For the price, the quality is definitely there, and it saved me a lot compared to other brands I've seen.

Decent polygel, slow support

I ordered the Polygel Nail Extension Kit and a few extra Gel Nail Polishes. The ordering process was straightforward on their site. It took 8 days for the package to arrive, which felt a little long, but everything was well-packed. The polygel itself applies smoothly and cures fine under my existing lamp. The color changing gel polish is a fun touch, works as advertised. I had a question about one of the nail art brushes not being in my order, and it took their customer support almost 3 days to get back to me. They did eventually send the missing brush, but the delay was a bit annoying. Products are good for the price, just be prepared for a wait if you need help.

how long does shipping usually take to california? need a new lamp asap!

R Rachel Torres 1 month ago
Mine usually arrives within a week to LA. I think it depends on what shipping option you pick though. They have tracking so you can keep an eye on it.

My last order got to San Diego in about 5-6 business days. So, probably around that for California generally, unless it's a holiday week.

hey, anyone know if their polygel is actually good for beginners? i've never done this before and don't want to mess it up.

T Tara Z. 1 month ago
Yeah, totally! I got one of their starter kits and it came with everything and instructions. Watched a few YouTube vids too but honestly, it was pretty straightforward. Took a few tries to get the hang of it but not bad.

I think it's pretty beginner-friendly. The slip solution helps a lot so it's not super sticky like some other brands I've tried. Just be patient with yourself.

Are their products genuine? Saw some sketchy sites selling 'SXC' stuff for way less and it made me wonder.

P Priya Silva 1 month ago
If you're buying from their official site, sxccosmetics.com, then yes, it's legit. I've ordered multiple times and never had an issue.

Only buy from their website! There are definitely fakes out there for a lot of beauty brands. I only trust the direct source for stuff going on my body.

Thinking of getting a kit from here or Modelones. Anyone used both and have a preference for polygel?

S Sam R. 3 weeks ago
I've used both! SXC's polygel feels a bit more pliable to me, easier to spread without it getting too stiff too fast. Modelones is good too, but I slightly prefer the consistency of SXC.

Modelones colors are nice, but I find the SXC polygel lasts longer on my nails without lifting. Plus, their starter kits are pretty comprehensive.

Can I stack a first order discount with a bundle deal? Like if I get a polygel kit on sale, can I still use that 10% off for new customers?

C Cody 3 weeks ago
Nah, I tried that once. It's usually just one code per order. The bundle deals are already a discount though, so you still save money.

I don't think so, they typically only let you use one discount code at checkout. Sometimes the bundles are auto-discounted though, so you don't even need a code for those.
